We're from LA. Our relatives brought us to the chess club. It had very modern design and equipment. We liked the club very much and it was very comfortable. The owner himself is a chess lover. We enjoyed playing numerous games of chess with many different interesting players.

A great place to play chess. Best chess club facility outside of St. Louis. Open 5 days a week. Various regularly scheduled rated tournaments plus lots of time set aside for skittles, study, etc. Players of all skill levels are active there. If in Houston check out The Houston Chess Studio, it's your best move!

Great place to play. Rated tournaments and some unrated. Some very good restaurants near and next door. Awesome wall of chess. A really cool mural and a high tech projected wall of chess tournaments, video's, lectures and anything anyone wants to put up. Glad to see a dedicated chess club.
