I rented a court to play with my family while visiting NYC. The facilities were conveniently located and in good condition. The clay is very compacted so it plays like hard court. What surprised me most was how friendly and helpful all the staff were. Would recommend this club to anyone (as long as you don't mind having some red stains from the clay), and I look forward to playing at Sutton East Tennis Club again when I come to NYC in the future.

It’s extremely hard to schedule make up sessions for young kids. The coordinators are not helpful and the schedule for make up sessions is zero flexible. Would not recommend this place for younger kids.

Hire Corey for a lesson! I’m a 3.5 or so player. When I came to him, my serve and my forehands were both a big mess… my forehands were sailing WAY long, and I was getting in about 20% of my first serves. Thanks to my 2 lessons with Corey, I’m now getting about 55% of my hard first serves in, and hitting a great second serve. And my topspin forehand is very much improved, and only getting better. I’m now playing at a solid 4.0 level. Thanks for giving me simple, effective tips, Corey!

Great indoor surface and consistent, reasonable booking policy. Nets between courts are overall nice to have . Always busy. . .

Great surface and consistent, reasonable booking policy. Nets between courts are overall nice to have, but can constrict play on the courts without doubles alleys (I think court 3 and court 6). However if everyone is OK with it, the nets between courts could be removed to give some more space on side lines.
