We signed up for Robotics camp and what we got was Lego camp for a 9 year old. First 4 days the kids built the Lego model and when it was time to connect it all up, apparently the brick was out of charge, so our kid just watched others while the brick was getting charged up. On last day, when kids were finally ready to code, apparently a kid from another group, pressed the shut down button. No one at the facility knew the password to power it back up so our kid had to call it a day. When we gave this feedback to the folks at the camp on start of day 5 as well as the end, we were told that the feedback will be shared. Do we really pay top dollar so that you can take our feedback? Your instructor had multiple opportunities through the week to course correct but none happened. You had other organizational failures on last day and all we got was "your feedback will be shared". Next time, start with an apology.

My son has been going for chess coaching with Bellevue Chess4life for the last one year. They have strong curriculum and brilliant coaches(coach Hristo & coach John) in Bellevue center. Our 9 year old is coaching with coach Hristo and we have seen his confidence and game improve. The coaches are very encouraging of the kids and the whole environment is very enriching. Our son attends the premium center classes and also their chessplus summer camps and was very excited to go for both. They also have weekly Friday night quads where kids get to play with similar rated/capable players as them and have a fun friendly competition! Highly recommend them for parents looking for introducing chess to their kids.

Very Disappointed with Redmond chess4life. Thier Customer Service is the worst. I sent my son recently for their 2day chess camp and was BAD EXPERIENCE. Initially when i called and asked them about the process she explained it to me well but did not follow at the end. As it was his 1st class I in perticularly asked how do you motivate kids who are early learners. She said we make it intresting and will have tournament at the end and we give out trophies for all. Well i boosted my son and sent him. Day 1 went and Day 2 was done..end of the day I wanted to get in touch with the coach and ask what my son learnt and what he would recommend next? He was busy and was not available for chat nor they gave any trophy as mentioned before. After couple of days called the center, asked if they have any feed back or update for me on what was taught in the class? and how should i know if they don't tell me? Reception lady told me that the coach will get back to me on this. 1 week passed no response and again i tried..he did not call me. I do not recommend this center for anyone. It's just a rip off.

Safe and inspiring environment for kids to learn not only chess but essential life skills. My kid was trained at Chess4Life, and I was very impressed with how he was benefited in the areas of critical thinking, resilience, and collaboration skills through chess!
