Had a solid time at Central Park Tennis Center. The courts being clay added a cool twist to the game. They usually have open courts, which is awesome. Just a heads up though, you'll need cash for the permits and there's no ATM on site. Four stars because of the cash-only thing, but overall, a great spot to play tennis!

Well, there's a reservoir near there that I walk all around that brings you from the West side to the East side of Manhattan. It's awesome.
The tennis courts are always full and the parks employees take good care of it. It's clean , has restrooms and a tennis shop.
Attached is a picture of the reservoir and a picture of the tennis court as you walk by.

By the lockers there is a noisy and smelly red generator that disturbs the quiet and pollutes the air with its diesel. it goes on day and night everyday. It needs to be removed.

The conduct of NYC Parks personnel is a testament to why the government should not be in charge of anything. These people are rude, disrespectful and incompetent. They are clearly unhappy to work here and should be fired.
