Had been there for few Saturday tournaments, very well organized, professionally conducted. Best chess academy in North Phoenix area.

This is the best chess school in town!
My 6 year old son is studying chess with Coach Liulia about half year so far. My son was from an absolutely beginner to USCF around 750, and he is keeping improving everyday. He certainly enjoyed all the chess tournaments, lessons, and friendship from the school. 🏆

The two lady coaches are rude especially the older one Maritza. She rudely told me to keep it down while i was whispering and gave attitude the entire time even to the kids playing. I thought this was suppose to be fun for everyone? so they claim on their website. Fortunately we're from out of town, not regulars here and prob wont return.
They rushed through their award ceremony and even had some of the placements wrong without even apologizing about it. Very Rude!!!
Two stars instead of one only because The gentleman working was nice.

I am 64 years old and have played in a number of Saturday Tournaments at Phoenix Chess Academy. There has been a nice mix of kids and adults in these tournaments. The kids at the academy are very respectful and courteous and conduct themselves with class. I believe her students are stronger players than their USCF ratings based on my lesser success when playing them verses other tournaments elsewhere that I have participated in against youth participants.
