Every time I visit a new city I like to see things I would not see at home. This discovery was a treasure I hope to enjoy again soon. The retail area was bigger than I had ever seen, bigger than the venerated Wargames West of the 90s. The game room was massive, with lots of tables and terrain features ready for use. What blew me away was the room dedicated to miniatures. They had ALL the paints. They even had tables with equipment like stands and magnifiers so that you could build and paint ON SITE with expert tutelage. Dice? They had shelves of them. Miniatures? Several walls worth from known brands and a few lesser known vendors. I have found some source materials over my years of playing I thought were finds. Imperial Outpost Games had those books plus ones I did not know exist. I’m delighted to know such a place exists and will visit again soon.
What a fun and welcoming shop! I was there for a book signing and saw so many fun games that after talking to one of the owners I plan on going back with grandchildren in tow. Wondrrful customer service!
Friendly staff. Great prices. Lots of different products available for many games old and new. Gaming space is enormous and terrain outstanding
Out of paints every time I go, then blame it on the supplier. Oh well... Amazon, take my money because it's obvious these guys don't need it. I love shopping local, SHOPPING being the key word here.
In Phoenix, this is the place to buy miniatures, paints, table top RPGs, plus a room for running a game, perfect for your Warhammer Fantasy Battle or 40k! Between the supplies and the staff, you can't go wrong here!
