I went to visit this park to check out the Hansel and Gretael statue but it seems to have been removed or relocated. However, walking around this neighborhood allowed me to see the unique German and Japanese architecture that is so carefully and purposefully interwoven throughout the area. From the Buddhist temple with the lovely garden to the majesty of St. Michael's church a block away, this area combines two cultures architecturally. In a way that creates harmony in our city's vast cultural landscape. If only the citizens were as integrated as the architecture.

Cute "secret" little park buried in the depths of a Lincoln Park neighborhood. Right next to a Buddhist Temple and an old German style townhouse. Good place to sit and enjoy a meal or a book.

Great place, the chess tables aren't comfortable, but overall I gotta say it blends with the neighborhood nicely.

This is a wonderful place to play chess or just relax. It's very quiet and you can hear the birds singing.
