Beware they do not offer refunds for any reson! I signed my daughter up for three classes that were all unable to happen due to COVID. That round of classes hadn't begun and rather than contacting us to ask if we wanted to do online courses they just moved it all to online. We didn't get any type of material packages for any of the courses and were still charged the full amount. We found out that they were moving everything online through email. Not even the courtesy of a phone call. I will never sign up for another class with this company.
Long story short: loyal customers, paid early for next round of IN-PERSON classes, Covid struck, schools closed, this company refused to provide refund. Ridiculous! My credit card company issued refund when I explained the circumstances. It's quite telling when a credit card company has more consideration for its customers than Afterschool Enrichment Solutions has..AVOID this company
I am an independent contractor of over 3 years that was supposed to be paid several days ago for my teaching in February. The owner has not only not paid any employees, but also is not responding to requests for information. If you support this company, you are supporting someone who does not value his employees and disrespects labor.
Awful experience with this company through Holy Family School. When the pandemic started, I requested a refund for chess classes that would not be completed in person. I was ignored, told it was offered online and never given a refund. I did not want my child doing chess ONLINE after countless hours of online schoolwork. If I could give them negative stars, I would. They were unprofessional and still have my money for a service I never used. WILL NEVER USE OR SUPPORT THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
Signed my kid up for chess scholars pre pandemic. Months later chess scholar emails everyone saying their switching to an online platform. I called to ask for refund because even woth the “unforeseen circumstances” I didn’t want my kid to be online staring at the computer more than he NEEDS to be. My kid is complaining about eyestrains and headaches as it is. Called to get a refund and was told no because they e had a no cancellation policy for 20 years and that covers unforeseen circumstances. Really? So my concerns as a parent mean nothing. I’m suppose to subject my kid to more radiation and hurt his eyes more because of your policy? My husband isn’t going to be working and my kids head hurts, but chess scholars only seems to be concerned woth their profits. I’m reporting them if I don’t get a refund. Again we are all in this together but the fact that this program is still going to keep my money woth everything that they know about my case is in human. Landlords are extending rent payments but chess scholars can’t accompdate their customers? Wow. This shows their character.
